Routine Care

Soft sponges, damp cloths and paper towels work well
Rinse and wipe dry after each cleaning
Difficult Residue
Spray residue with ammonia based cleaner or other over-the-counter cleaner (special cleaners for solid surface materials are also available) then wait for 30-seconds to allow cleaner to penetrate into residue
Wipe dry with a paper towel
Repeat process if residue persists
If residue still persists, then follow the directions below for removing scratches

Refurbishing the Finish
Removing Minor Cuts and Scratches
Based on the severity of cut or scratch, use either a 120, 220 or 280 grit sand paper to sand out the cut or scratch
Rub over cut or scratch in a straight line to remove
Periodically switch rubbing directions
Continue until scratch is completely removed
Clean top with clear water
Select the next lighter grit sand paper and repeat process above ensuring to rub over a larger area to blend in sanding
Continue process using successively finer grits of sand paper until desired finish is achieved.
Clean top with clear water then wipe dry
Cleaning Sinks and Lavatories
Follow the cleaning procedures mentioned above, or
Use a product such as Soft Scrub and a green Scotch-Brite pad to remove residue on the sink
Rub entire sink surface to blend finish
Disinfecting Sinks and Lavatories
Occasionally fill sink 1/4 full with diluted household bleach (3 parts water to 1 part bleach)
Let stand for 15-minutes the wash sides and bottom as solution drains
Rinse entire sink with clean water
Prevent Heat Damage
Although Corian is an excellent material for heat resistance, it is still very important to minimize direct heat exposure to protect your Corian surface and investment.
We recommend using heat trivets or hot pads with placing hot objects on your Corian countertop. It is also recommended to allow cookware to cool before placing them in your Corian sink.
Although boiling water alone will not damage your Corian sink, we still recommend running your faucet while pouring boiling water into your sink
Preventing Other Damage
Help maintain the beauty of your countertops by:
Avoiding direct exposure to strong chemicals, such as paint removers, oven cleaners, etc. - if contact does occur, quickly flush the surface with water
Do not cut directly on your Corian countertops
